A “Liuteria” in the
Villa Bossi Gardens

Liuteria Bizzi leans out over the park of Villa Bossi and enjoys the beauty of the gardens and of the natural light that floods in through a long glass window.
We still keep the tools and the workbenches that we were using at the “Laboratorio” of Milan, in the district called “Isola”, the Island, the very place where everything started long ago, in 1976. The place which became a few years later the Violin Making School of the City, run by Guido Bizzi.

Now, as it was then and similarly to what has been done for centuries in the Italian “Botteghe”, we can find in the workshop a few people at work, often with different ideas, in a continuous and challenging comparison of experiences. Today, as it was in the past.
It is difficult to write what we do and how we work at Liuteria Bizzi but it is easy to come and visit us because we are close to the Milano Malpensa airport where you can easily arrive, be accompanied to Villa Bossi, live a special day and see with your own eyes how a violin is born.
